What is Sculptra? Sculptra is a collagen booster and the ultimate investment for your skin. Every year you age, starting around 25 years old, you lose 1% of collagen. This is why you start to notice saggy skin, jowling, crepiness, and hollowing in your face, neck, chest, hands, and other areas.
Since your face, neck, and hands are most prone to being exposed to UVA and UVB rays, you will notice that these specific areas will show aging first and the most.
Sculptra can be injected in the face, neck, chest, hands, and other areas to stimulate collagen.
Sculptra results will take around 6 weeks to appear. Results are not instant like filler and sculptra is not a filler!
Two vials are recommend at your first treatment and you may need more vials at the 6 week follow up.
A rule of thumb we like to use when estimating is a vial per decade! Give or take this estimate as everyone ages at different rates and uses different preventative aging measures such as dysport, skin care, filler, spf, etc.
The injection process is tolerable and we do numb you up before injecting.
Sculptra will appear as a very natural result and will also give your skin a subtle glow from the added boost of collagen.
There can be some down time with sculptra. You may bruise, swell, and have some tenderness for up to 2 weeks. Avoid make up and heavy activity for 24 hours.
Massaging is a must for 5minutes, 5x a day, for 5 days to prevent nodules or uneven results!
